A Message From The Founders

Nikkah Right started with us, long before we ever thought of turning it into a game.

When we were getting to know each other for marriage, we both came into the relationship with life experience. This wasn't the first marriage for either of us, and because of that, we approached things a little differently. We knew how important it was to really get to know each other and have honest conversations about the things that matter. Not just the easy questions, but faith, family, expectations, communication, finances, intimacy, conflict and what we each wanted marriage to look like.

During our courting stage, we asked each other a lot of questions. Some were easy, some were uncomfortable, and some led to conversations we never expected to have. We quickly realized that sometimes all it takes is the right question to open up a completely different conversation.

And getting married didn't mean those conversations stopped.

The first years of marriage brought a whole new layer of getting to know each other. We had to learn how to communicate, navigate our differences and understand where the other person was coming from. We kept asking questions and having conversations that helped us understand not only what the other person felt, but why.

That experience became the foundation for Nikkah Right.

We wanted to take what had been so valuable in our own relationship and create something other Muslim couples could experience too. The questions are rooted in Islamic values and shaped by modern relationship psychology and research, with the goal of encouraging deeper conversations around compatibility, faith, expectations, communication and marriage.

We also know that many Muslim marriages are struggling. We see couples entering marriage without having some of the conversations that matter most, and married couples slowly losing connection as life, children, responsibilities and everyday pressures take over. This is something we care deeply about because strong marriages don't just happen. They take intention, communication and a willingness to keep learning and understanding one another.

Our mission is simple: to help strengthen Muslim marriages through intentional, meaningful conversations that build deeper connection and lasting marriages.

Whether you're getting to know someone for marriage, preparing for nikkah, newly married or many years into your marriage, Nikkah Right is meant to grow with you. We hope it gives you a reason to slow down, put everything else aside for a little while, talk openly, laugh together, learn something new about each other and sometimes have the conversations you didn't even realize you needed to have.

Nikkah Right is more than a game to us. It grew from our own relationship and the lessons we've learned, and continue to learn along the way.

It helped us navigate the beginning of our marriage, and it continues to help us as we grow and change together. Marriage is a lifelong journey, and we hope Nikkah Right becomes something you can keep coming back to throughout yours.

With love,

“And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves spouses that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.”
